  • Tammi Hart - Global Supplier Diversity and Compliance Sr. Purchasing Manager: As the Global Supplier Diversity and Compliance Sr. Purchasing Manager at Tenneco Inc., Tammi brings extensive experience in global compliance and supplier diversity. Since learning about Supplier Diversity in 2006, Tammi has been a passionate advocate for the inclusion of vendors from underrepresented groups. Tammi's dedication has earned her recognition from advocacy groups and customers for her success in ensuring the inclusion of underrepresented vendors in both state and automotive supplier chains. Several honors have been bestowed upon her, including Corp! Diversity Business Leader, Great Lakes Women's Business Council Ambassador. Tammi’s deep understanding of the importance of inclusive sourcing would help champion opportunities for small businesses, particularly those from underrepresented groups, to become valuable suppliers, bringing a valuable perspective on how small businesses can navigate these complexities and build sustainable partnerships with larger organizations.
 
  • Garam Choe - Business Litigation Attorney and Founder of Choe & Mateo: Garam recently joined the Small Business Action Committee, bringing a strong background in business litigation and regulatory compliance. As the co-founder of Choe & Mateo and a former attorney at top national firms, Garam has represented investors and businesses in securities, corporate, and antitrust matters, and is eager to share valuable experience with the small business community. His experience also includes work with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and FINRA, giving him deep insight into protecting businesses from fraud and navigating complex regulations. Garam received his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law, where he received a merit-based scholarship covering the full cost of tuition. He continues to mentor law students through the St. John’s Moot Court Honor Society. Garam is passionate about supporting small businesses with legal guidance and helping them grow within a strong, compliant framework. He is licensed to practice law in Michigan, New York, and Pennsylvania.
 
  • James Kim, President of Logos Logistics and Apptree, Founder of Simple Global: James brings over 25 years of logistics and supply chain leadership to the Small Business Committee. He is the founder of Logos Logistics, a full-service third-party logistics (3PL) company; Simple Global, a tech-driven logistics platform; and Apptree, a staffing firm connecting businesses with top talent. He also serves as the Vice President of OKTA (Overseas Korean American Traders Association) and KPAI (Korean American Professionals in the Automotive Industry). Throughout his career, James has supported businesses of all sizes—from OEMs to small enterprises—across multiple states, helping new companies successfully transition into the U.S. market. Under his leadership, his companies have been long-standing clients of APACC member financial institutions for over 15 years. James began his career at Samsung Motors in South Korea and has since helped businesses of all sizes optimize operations and expand into the U.S. market. James looks forward to leveraging his experience and network to support local small businesses and foster growth within the community.
