Intro to JavaScript: Build a Guessing Game by Thinkful Detroit

Looking for a fun way to start learning how to code? Join us as we teach you how to build a simple guessing game while learning the fundamentals of JavaScript, the most popular programming language.

With each new programming concept you learn, you will add new features to the game, including keeping track of how many guesses you've had and starting a new game from scratch. See an example before you come: this guessing game was made by an attendee at one of the last events!

To get the most out of it, be sure to bring your laptop.

How to find us: TechTown Detroit entrance is located on Burrough St between 2nd Ave and Cass Ave. There are several parking lots next to TechTown as well as free street parking after 6:00pm. Rooms will be on the first floor and can ask front desk for directions.
