Comerica Sponsors Countering Hate: Addressing Reactions to COVID-19



On May 12th from 6 - 7:30 p.m. (ET) join Comerica Bank and Brian Dickerson, Editorial Page Editor and Columnist with the Detroit Free Press in a panel on the impact of COVID-19 on the Asian community in Detroit. Opening remarks will be given by Irvin Ashford, Comerica Bank, Chief Community Officer.

Panelists Include:

  • Nate Bennett, Comerica, Chief Diversity Officer
  • Stephanie Chang, Michigan State Senator
  • Grant Ha, Deputy Chief, Detroit Police Department Legal Advisor
  • Tsu-Yin Wu, PhD., Eastern Michigan University, Director of Center for Health Disparities and Asian Studies and Healthy Asian American Project
 

Following the panel discussion, participants will have an opportunity to engage in small group discussions to reflect and deepen understanding.
