A Journey with Minari | APAHM Opening Performance

Lee Isaac Chung’s acclaimed film Minari is a tender and sweeping story that follows a Korean-American family in search of their own American Dream and their discovery of what truly makes a home. Inspired by one of the films original songs and her own experience moving to America, “A Journey with Minari” is choreographer and dancer Joori Jung’s reflection on the hope, determination, and resilience required to follow one's dreams.

With opening remarks from Senator Stephanie Chang, Representative Padma Kuppa and DIA Director Salvador Salort-Pons, this timely performance kicks off the DIA’s Asian Pacific American Heritage Month program series.
