2018 MICHauto Summit

MICHauto’s signature event engages automotive industry leaders, students and interns from regional universities, colleges and trade schools for a full day of programming.

MICHauto, an economic development initiative of the Detroit Regional Chamber, serves as the unified voice of Michigan’s automotive industry. Dedicated to promoting, growing and retaining the industry, MICHauto also works to create awareness for the talent, economic development and business needs of the automotive community in Michigan.

Serving as keynote for this year's Summit, Ken Washington, vice president of research and advanced engineering and chief technology officer at Ford Motor Company, will offer attendees an inside look at Ford's City of Tomorrow vision and share some insights regarding on Ford's presence in Corktown.
